Insider Access is actively recruiting offenders in prison to
provide content for our monthly magazine.
We are looking for a wide range of content that highlights the positive skills and motivation that offenders have.
This content could be produced as part of the offenders participation in learning, through their prison work or by self motivated offenders in their cells "after hours"!

Insider Access allows the offender to participate in meaningful activity whilst in prison, either as part of a supervised activity or unsupervised in their cells.
Insider Access aims to develop the motivation and self esteem of offenders.
Our aim is to help offenders develop employability skills and a work ethic to support them upon release.
The creation of content for Insider Access can be embedded in the learning undertaken by an offender whilst in prison. It could be linked to a qualification outcome by learning providers in prison.
We will give offenders who have contributed to Insider Access a reference on request.

Staff of Insider Access are happy to meet with offenders in prison and talk about Insider Access.
On the offenders request we will provide, where possible, informal mentoring 'Through the Gate' and in the community.
Insider Access will (subject to capacity) take suitable offenders on licence from prison to work in our office on the magazine.
Offenders upon release are encouraged to continue participating in providing content for Insider Access or volunteering in our office.
